Manchester United defender Alex Telles is nearing a move to join Cristiano Ronaldo at Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr with talks underway between the two clubs.

The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at Sevilla and won the Europa League with the La Liga club.

Telles will join up with his former United team-mate Ronaldo, who moved to the club from Old Trafford in January.

Al Nassr were one of four Saudi Arabian clubs taken over by the country’s Public Investment Fund last month, alongside Al Ittihad, Al Ahli and Al Hilal.

That investment has led to several high-profile players swapping European football for Saudi Arabia already this summer.

Al Nassr’s only summer signing so far is Croatia international Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan on a permanent deal.
