(Video) Jude Bellingham opens scoring against United despite being offside

1 minute read

Real Madrid have opened the scoring in Houston thanks to a delicate chip by new signing Jude Bellingham – but it should have been ruled offside.

The England midfielder, who had been tracked by United many years before his Real Madrid move, has announced himself to the Los Blancos faithful with a stunning finish against the Reds.

United’s defence fell asleep after losing Kobbie Mainoo to injury shortly before Bellingham scored. On top of that, Onana won’t appreciate conceding such a goal, in his first game for United.

Bellingham needed some help from the linesman, though.

When we look closer at the 20-year-old’s goal — thanks to replays posted across social media and televised on MUTV — Bellingham was clearly in an offside position.

We won’t shed any tears over a pre-season game.

Hopefully, there won’t be more injuries to report.
