Fabio Carvalho approves Liverpool’s rumoured transfer call on ‘quite rare’ player

1 minute read

Fabio Carvalho has liked an Instagram post by Fabrizio Romano which states that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have decided to ‘walk away’ from signing Chelsea-bound, Moises Caicedo.

It has been a 2023 summer transfer window to forget for Liverpool supporters, so far, because, after a countless number of midfield players leaving, only two more have been added – Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.

Fabio Carvalho was the only player to leave on-loan, after he joined RB Leipzig, whilst Jordan Henderson and Fabinho were the two standout exits.

As a result, the Anfield faithful were hoping that the team would knock on the door for new players, with Moises Caicedo a much-talked-about player – he was dubbed a ‘quite rare’ player by former Arsenal man, Kieran Gibbs, as he told ESPN.

The Reds put money down on the table for the Brighton midfielder, it seemed as though it would have been a British record transfer signing, but he snubbed a transfer to Merseyside and there is now talk about Chelsea.

As a result, it seems as though they are now ready to ‘walk away’ from that transfer, which was seemingly approved by Carvalho after he liked the below Instagram post.

Liverpool only have themselves to blame

This isn’t a problem for this season, but the previous campaign also when they left it late and ended up signing Arthur Melo on a loan deal.

There is a lack of pro-active nature to how they bring in players, at times, and it is costing them.

This is a re-building job for Klopp, a new era after recent success and, as of this moment, if the fans are a little discouraged or pessimistic about things, then you wouldn’t blame them.
