Jack Harrison is undergoing a medical ahead of a proposed move from Leeds United to Everton.
The Premier League club have triggered a clause in the 26-year-old’s contract that would see him join on an initial season-long loan, which Everton would like to turn permanent in due course. Personal terms are in place.
Harrison was always a top target for Everton alongside former Leeds team-mate Rodrigo, who has since left for Qatari side Al Rayyan, and Arnaut Danjuma, who joined on loan from Villarreal earlier this summer.
They have since also signed Youssef Chermiti from Sporting Lisbon in a £15million deal.

Aston Villa were also keen earlier in the window but Harrison’s first-team prospects in the Midlands appeared more distant than at Goodison Park.
Should a move develop to a positive conclusion, Harrison would become the latest of a number of players to depart Elland Road this summer.
Robin Koch, Max Wober, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca and Brenden Aaronson have all left on loan while Willy Gnonto, Luis Sinisterra and Tyler Adams could all depart too before the end of the month.
Following Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Birmingham City, Leeds are 19th in the table with a draw and a defeat from their opening two games.
