The first ‘Originals’ feature launches on Saturday 9 September with ‘One Love’, a five-episode series that goes behind the scenes with some of our most dedicated supporters’ clubs, to uncover the fascinating stories, experiences and sacrifices these fans make to follow the club.

The landmark series celebrates the breadth and diversity of our fan base, from long-time season-ticket holders who attend Old Trafford every week, to far-flung supporters from Beijing to Botswana. The first episode, ‘Trailblazers’, will be available on Saturday 9 September and focuses on Manchester United Women supporters’ club who have shown immense commitment in supporting the women’s team since its inception in 2018.

Ian Nolan, chief content officer at Manchester United, said: “The Originals content is aimed at giving a fresh and exciting insight on key moments in the history of the club as well as being a fan-focused approach to show the vast and passionate support that exists for Manchester United through the lens of our loyal fans.

“There are a lot of sports documentaries that focus on the athletes and the teams, but with the ‘One Love’ series we wanted to change the narrative by celebrating our fans.

“The series is our love letter penned back to our fans, to show how much we appreciate them, wherever they are in the world. We know all our fans have incredible stories, and we wanted them to educate us - to tell us their stories of passion, dedication and commitment in following United. We wanted to show we are listening, and how much we appreciate them.”

In addition to the ‘One Love’ series, fans will be able to access exclusive documentaries, behind-the-scenes footage and unique and compelling feature films as part of the ‘Originals’ franchise. Some of the new content includes:

  • Tour 23 - an access-all-areas look at our summer tour of the United States.
  • 1990 - a feature film about the iconic 1989/90 season and the FA Cup win which launched Sir Alex Ferguson’s years of success.
