Manchester United have had rotten luck when it comes to injuries this season - and we’re only in September.
Erik ten Hag is suffering the result of bad fortune and an intense post-Covid schedule that has burdened players with an increasingly hectic calendar. Injuries forced the United boss to dip into the deadline-day transfer market.
Segio Reguilon was brought in on loan from Tottenham amid injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia. Jonny Evans was signed as extra defensive cover and was called upon in the defeat to Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Sofyan Amrabat may have always been a target for Ten Hag but he comes in amid issues to several midfielders. However, the Moroccan himself has now suffered a setback.
