Man Utd players’ feelings towards Jadon Sancho after latest Erik ten Hag spat

Jadon Sancho is bracing himself for showdown talks with Erik ten Hag next week, with his Manchester United future in jeopardy.

Ten Hag was left lost for words by how the winger sparked a spat with an inflammatory social media post. After Sancho’s manager claimed that he’d been left out of United’s squad for their bruising 3-1 defeat away to Arsenal last Sunday due to poor performances in training, the 23-year-old remarkably hit back and urged fans ‘not to believe everything they read’.

Now, the Telegraph are reporting that Ten Hag and Sancho will hold face-to-face talks on Monday to discuss the dispute. The Red Devils boss took some time off this week but is now ready to meet with Sancho, who once again wasn’t included in England’s latest squad for international duty.

**Mirror Football ** understands that Ten Hag feels the situation has been blown out of proportion thanks to Sancho’s reaction, in which he effectively accused the United boss of lying. Ten Hag, although angry with him, believes that it can be resolved.

Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq, who are managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, wanted to sign Sancho before their domestic transfer window closed on Thursday, but the Red Devils ruled out a loan. His absence from the matchday squad against Arsenal raised eyebrows, despite the former Borussia Dortmund star failing to impress so far this season.

Speaking after the loss, Ten Hag told reporters: “On his performance on training we didn’t select him. You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United. You can make choices in the front line, so in this game he wasn’t selected.”

Sancho quickly responded by posting: “Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!
