BBC Radio Manchester’s We’re Not Really Here podcast discusses the fallout from Manchester City’s defeat at Arsenal .
Mike Minay: “We really missed the control in midfield yesterday and it is clear those players there cannot do it to the level Rodri does. City did not have enough creativity. When he is back, when Kevin de Bruyne is back, they will be fine so it is certainly not crisis mode. The one thing Pep Guardiola does need to work out is how to get Erling Haaland involved.”
Max George from The Wanted: “I think we missed Rodri a lot but any team would given he is probably the best midfielder in the world at the moment. He just controls everything from the middle.”
Minay: “Who do City miss more - Rodri, De Bruyne or Ilkay Gundogan?”
Natalie Pike: “If any of those three had been playing, they would have grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck.”
