We asked for your best Eden Hazard moments in a Chelsea shirt after the Belgian announced his retirement from professional football today.
Here is a flavour of your responses:
David: Hazard’s solo goal against Arsenal sums up everything he was about. The close control, skill and strength, pure class. Even the rest of the Chelsea squad were watching, expecting for him to produce something magic.
Max: Hazard’s solo run vs West Ham. There are plenty of great goalscorers who can score from anywhere in the box, but there are very few players who can pick up the ball anywhere on the field and take it to the back of the net.
James: The two solo goals at Anfield stand out. Both mesmerising but the one in front of The Kop was prime Hazard toying with the opposition.
Patrick: Hazard’s goal against Spurs to give Leicester the Premier League title will always be my abiding memory.
Simon: Difficult to choose between the Tottenham goal and the Arsenal goal the following year. However, because it effectively stopped Tottenham winning the league, it’s that goal in 2016 for me. Wonderful, if a tad nasty.
