Manchester United’s Under-21s side drew 1-1 with Fulham in Premier League 2 on Friday evening at Motspur Park.

Imani Lanquedoc put the hosts ahead after 26 minutes played in the capital, latching onto a through ball before slotting home past Elyh Harrison.

It took Travis Binnion’s side until additional time to find our leveller, with Ethan Williams’s low drive finding the bottom corner to ensure the points were shared.

Our young Reds could have won it late on too, with a goalmouth scramble ensuing inside the box, before the Cottagers managed to clear their lines.Sam Murray looks to charge forward for the Reds.In a relatively quiet first period, Lanquedoc had an earlier chance to open the scoring for Fulham, with United’s defence standing firm. Kristian Sekularac also went close for the hosts.

Following the game’s first goal, the Reds responded in the second period and did have chances through Shola Shoretire and substitute Ethan Ennis.

Tom Huddlestone was brought on in the closing stages and went close himself with a glancing header. His effort narrowly evaded the crossbar.
