Rebekah Vardy is thought to have been treated in hospital after a horse-riding accident.
The wife of the Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy was unseated from the saddle and dragged along the ground when her foot became caught in a stirrup.
Vardy, 41, was taken to an accident and emergency department for treatment after the fall in Leicestershire on Friday, The Sun reported. A friend told the newspaper: “Becky was riding a horse close to her home in Leicester when it got spooked and threw her.”

Vardy was said to have been sent home with her foot strapped inside a surgical boot after receiving treatment.
The footballer’s wife brought a libel case against Coleen Rooney last summer after she became embroiled in a dispute with her former friend over stories appearing in The Sun newspaper.

In July last year the High Court judge ruled in favour of Rooney, who claimed that stories from her private Instagram account had been leaked to the press by Vardy.
Rooney, 37, had to wear a surgical boot because of a broken toe during the “Wagatha Christie” trial last year.

“Becky is aware of the similarities to Coleen and laughed about it,” the friend said. “The shoe, or rather the boot, really is on the other foot now.”
The accident is believed to have happened shortly after Vardy returned from a holiday, which coincided with the release of Rooney’s Disney+ documentary series about the legal saga.
In Rooney’s three-part programme, released on October 18, she appears in tears in front of the cameras while discussing the dispute.
Describing her struggles during the libel case, she said her family noticed a change in her: “My dad said, ‘You’re just not you any more.’ ”
A representative for Vardy declined to comment.
